• Abstract:The patent information measurement method was used to explore the development trend of technological innovation in the automotive tire industry.By using the incoPat global patent database to retrieve patents and conduct patent navigation，comprehensive retrieval and analysis were conducted on patent application volume trends，technical composition, activity，main applicants and key patents of global and Chinese patents in relation to the automotive tire industry technology field.A comparison of the patent situation between the world and China was performed by visualizing it through figures and tables.The patent data information and technological development status was compared to understand the development trend of automobile tire industrial technological innovation.The global proportion of these related technology patent applications in China was 27.51%，which was significantly higher than that in other countries.The main applicants for related industry patents and high-value key patents were concentrated in the nations and region such as Europe，America and Japan.

• Abstract:Taking 315/70R22.5（pattern form was ASL01） truck and bus radial tire as the research object，the effects of contour parameters such as the central arc radius of the tire crown，crown total arc height（h ），running surface width（b） and 2h /b on the comprehensive performance of the tire were systematically studied by using numerical simulation method.The results showed that the central arc radius of the tire crown and b had great influence on the friction work and temperature field of the tire，and the influence on the rolling resistance of the tire could be ignored.h had the greater influence on the friction work of the tire，and relatively small influence on the rolling resistance and temperature field of the tire.When the tread pattern was expanded at 2h /b，the rolling resistance of the tire was basically unchanged，the friction work and temperature field of the tire changed obviously.The profile parameters involved in this study had a greater impact on the friction work of the tire and a smaller impact on the rolling resistance of the tire.

• Abstract:The design of 12R22.5 full-wheel position truck and bus radial tire was described.In the structure design，the following parameters were taken：overall diameter　1 083 mm，cross-sectional width?296 mm，width of running surface　236 mm，arc height of running surface　5.2 mm，bead diameter at rim seat?571 mm，bead width at rim seat?244 mm，maximum width position of cross–section（H/₁/H/₂ ）?0.954，using a transverse deepened knife grooved pattern for tread，pattern depth?20 mm， block/total ratio?82%，and number of pattern pitches?76.In the construction design，the following processes were taken：using a three composite extrusion process for tread，using a 4-layer belt structure and 3＋8×0.33HT steel cord for 2^# and 3^# belts，using 3×0.24/9×0.225CCHT steel cord for carcass，using Φ1.83 mm bronze plated tempered bead steel for bead wire，using a three-drum one-stage building machine to build tires and a dual-mode vulcanizing press to cure tires.The test results of the finished tire performance showed that，the inflated peripheral dimention，strength，durability and speed performance of the tire all met the requirements of corresponding design，enterprise and national standards.

• Abstract:The design of 195/85R16LT all-steel radial tire was introduced.In the structure design，the following parameters were taken：overall diameter　729 mm，cross-sectional width　190 mm，width of running surface　144 mm，arc height of running surface　7.49 mm，bead diameter at rim seat　404.2 mm，bead width at rim seat　140 mm，maximum width position of cross-section（H₁/H₂）　1.03，pattern depth　10.2 mm，block/total ratio　75.6%，and number of pattern pitches　41.In the construction design，the following parameters were taken：using single compound for tread，using 3＋9×0.22＋0.15HT steel cord for carcass，using 2 layers of 4＋3×0.35ST steel cord for belts，using Φ1.55 mm high-strength bead steel for wire ring，and using one-step three-drum building machine to build tires，mechanical dual-mold press to cure tires.The test results of the finished tire showed that the inflated perpheral dimension，grounding footprint，strength performance，durability and high-speed performance of the tire all met the requirements of national and corporate standards and corresponding design.

• Abstract:The application of pyrolysis carbon black in the inner liner of semi-steel radial tires was investigated.The results showed that the specific surface area and structural degree of pyrolysis carbon black were close to those of carbon black N660.When 10 phr pyrolysis carbon black was used as an equivalent replacement for carbon black N660，there was essentially no impact on the processing and physical properties of the compound，while the air tightness was slightly improved，and the flex fatigue life was slightly extended.Both the high-speed performance and durability of the tire met the enterprise standards，and the cost of the formula was reduced.

• Abstract:The application of ultra-low rolling resistance modifier CSC-920（referred to as CSC-920） in the tread compound of aviation radial tire was studied.The results indicated that adding CSC-920 to the tread compound of aviation radial tire，the Mooney viscosity of the compound increased，the scorch time was shortened，the Payne effect was reduced，the filler dispersion was improved，and the hardness，modulus and wear resistance increased.However，the tensile strength，elongation at break and tear resistance were slightly reduced，while dynamic heat build-up decreased. When the CSC-920 dosage was 1.5 phr，the processing performance of the compound met the production requirements，with relatively superior comprehensive physical properties and lower dynamic heat build-up.

• Abstract:The application of novel granular release agent BO-3300（referred to as release agent BO-3300） in the steel-belted radial tires was investigated.The results showed that release agent BO-3300 contained no inorganic fillers and posed no dust dispersion issues.Compared to paste-based and liquid release agents，the stability and isolation effect of release agent BO-3300 were better，while having little impact on the properties of the inner liner compound and belt compound in the steel-belted radial tire.

• Abstract:Numerical simulation and orthogonal test were used to study the influence of 1^# belt angle，2^# belt angle，flat bead width，inflation pressure and tread roller pressure five building process parameters（process parameters for short） on the belt cord force of passenger car radial tire.The results showed that，for 1^# belt cord force，the 2^# belt angle and inflation pressure had a significant positive effect. For 1^# belt cord angle change，the flat bead width（negative effect） and inflation pressure（positive effect） had relatively significant effects，but the influence trend of the two parameters was opposite.For 2^# belt cord force，1^# and 2^# belt angles had a significant effect on it，and both of them were negative effect.For 2^# belt cord angle change，the flat bead width and inflation pressure had a relatively significant effect，and both of them showed positive effects.1^# and 2^# belt angles，and flat bead width had strong interaction effects on the mechanical state of the belt.The large angle difference between the two belts would lead to a large difference of the corresponding cord force.Appropriately increasing the belt angle synchronously would help reduce the cord force，but would increase the cord angle change.This study could provide reference for the optimization of tire process parameters and the improvement of product quality.

• Abstract:The application of high-efficiency energy-saving mold shell in the vulcanization of 12R22.5 AGR12 truck and bus radial tire was studied.The results showed that，compare with ordinary mold shell， the heat transfer efficiency of the high-efficiency energy-saving mold shell was significantly improved，the preheating time of the tread pattern blocks was shortened by 30 min，and the curing cycle of the 12R22.5 AGR12 truck and bus radial tire was shortened by 10 min.The appearance and durability of the finished tire were both at normal levels.

• Abstract:The correlation law between the multidirectional stiffness and static contact pressure distribution of truck and bus radial tires（TBR tires for short） was studied.Firstly，the high accuracy and stability of the test system（coefficient of variationt＜3.60%） were verified by the repeatability tests of standard tires.Then 40 groups of TBR tires were selected as samples，and their longitudinal，lateral and radial stiffness parameters and high-resolution contact pressure distribution data were measured synchronously under standard operating conditions.The results showed that the radial stiffness was the dominant factor determining the average contact pressure of TBR tire，and the lateral stiffness had a significant regulatory effect on the regularity of TBR tire contact patches.The stiffness synergy index（SCI）could quantify the comprehensive effect of TBR tire three dimensional stiffnesses.The average relative error of the multiple linear regression model based on radial stiffness and SCI was only 5.0%，which could effectively predict the static contact pressure level.This work could provide reference for tire structure optimization design and performance prediction.
